Three products entering global rollout
Rally Bar 2 targets medium and large meeting rooms. Its 4K digital PTZ camera uses a 1-inch sensor and a 115° diagonal field of view. New Qualcomm compute, a four-speaker system and six beamforming microphones support AI-driven video and audio. It can be deployed as an Android room appliance, with a dedicated PC, or for laptop-based BYOD meetings.
Tap IP 2 is the touch controller inside the room. Tap Scheduler 2 is the booking panel outside it. Both use brighter, higher-resolution 10.1-inch anti-glare displays and motion sensing. They solve different tasks: joining and controlling a meeting versus seeing room availability and booking a space.

Microsoft also confirms that the three products were announced on 8 October and are rolling out globally. Platform support, licences and the exact room configuration still need to be checked during deployment.
A modular system for large and divisible rooms
Rally System 2 Pro addresses spaces where one front-of-room video bar is insufficient: training rooms, larger boardrooms and rooms that split or combine. The announced core system includes RoomMate 2 Pro, Rally AI Camera Pro, two Rally Mic Pod 2 units and Rally Speaker 2.

RoomMate 2 Pro is the compute appliance, with announced support for up to three 4K displays. Logitech Link connects compatible devices over Category cabling, while Logitech Sync supports central management and room scenes. This is a different architecture from the existing Rally Plus system; accessories should not be assumed interchangeable.
Logitech schedules RightSight 3 camera switching for the second half of 2027 as a free CollabOS update. Treat this as a future software capability when writing project specifications.

Sound Shape directs audio towards listeners
Sound Shape is Logitech’s new approach to controlling where room audio travels. Rather than increasing volume throughout the space, the Pro and Max speaker arrays focus acoustic energy on listening areas and reduce unwanted reflections. Logitech’s stated coverage figures distinguish three products:

Rally Speaker 2
Seven-driver linear array. Logitech states coverage up to 8 m.

Rally Speaker 2 Pro
32-driver matrix with Sound Shape. Stated coverage up to 14 m.

Rally Speaker 2 Max
64-driver matrix with Sound Shape. Stated coverage up to 20 m.
These distances are manufacturer guidance. Room geometry, reflective surfaces, background noise and listener positions still determine the installation design. PNSS would assess these conditions before choosing a speaker or recommending changes to an existing audio system.
What is available now, and what comes later?

|---|---|---|
| Rally Bar 2 | Medium and large rooms | Global rollout now |
| Tap IP 2 | In-room meeting control | Global rollout now |
| Tap Scheduler 2 | Outside-room booking panel | Global rollout now |
| Rally System 2 Pro / RoomMate 2 Pro | Large, multipurpose and divisible rooms | Summer 2027 |

| RightSight 3 camera switching | Multi-camera software capability | Second half of 2027 |
“Summer 2027” is Logitech’s published global schedule. It is not a confirmed Malaysian stock date or a guarantee of project delivery. PNSS will confirm local SKUs, lead times, warranty arrangements and prices in the quotation.
PNSS perspective: choose by room and workflow
For a medium or large room that needs one integrated front-of-room device, Rally Bar 2 belongs on the shortlist. A room with long tables, multiple camera positions or movable partitions needs a more detailed coverage and operating-mode review. Projects completing before summer 2027 should be planned around hardware that can be supplied on the required date.

- Define the meeting workflow. Choose Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, guest-laptop BYOD or a supported combination.
- Measure coverage. Record the furthest seat, table layout, display sightlines and microphone pickup requirement.
- Plan installation. Include display mounts, network power, cable paths, controller position and access for service.
- Check the upgrade boundary. Identify existing cameras, Mic Pods, compute and mounts; verify each item before reusing it.
- Align with the delivery date. Separate products in global rollout from 2027 hardware and later software features.
An announcement alone is not a reason to replace a working room. Start with the users’ current problems, the room’s technical limits and the organisation’s support requirements.
Common questions
Which new Logitech products are rolling out now?
Logitech announced global rollout of Rally Bar 2, Tap IP 2 and Tap Scheduler 2 on 8 October 2026. Malaysian stock, prices and delivery timing must be confirmed with PNSS.
When are Rally System 2 Pro and the new speakers expected?
Logitech schedules Rally System 2 Pro, RoomMate 2 Pro and the Rally Speaker 2 range for summer 2027. RightSight 3 camera switching is scheduled for the second half of 2027.
Does the launch mean every existing Logitech room must be replaced?
No. PNSS recommends assessing the current room’s coverage, workflow, platform support and lifecycle before replacing equipment. Existing accessory compatibility must be checked against the exact new model.
Is simultaneous two-language room audio a shipping feature?
Logitech demonstrated the two-language-zone idea as a concept in development. It should not be specified as an available production feature at the October 2026 launch.
Planning a new room or an upgrade?
Share the room dimensions, seating plan, meeting platform and completion date with PNSS for a practical system recommendation.
