CAYIN SMP players combine industrial-grade player hardware with CAYIN SMP signage software. The first decision is usually the number of displays and whether they need clone, extended, separate or video-wall output modes.

When to add a CMS server

A standalone player can schedule its own content. As the network grows, central management becomes more important for group scheduling, content updates, access control, emergency messaging and operational consistency. At that point, compare CAYIN CMS-SE and CMS-WS rather than treating the player as the entire solution.

PNSS design note

Count independent output canvases, not only physical screens. A four-screen wall showing one stretched canvas is a different design from four displays showing independent content.

Manufacturer references

Specifications and product positioning should be reconfirmed against the current manufacturer documentation before final quotation.
